Dream Diaries: Episode 9
Hey everyone! It’s Shenaja here to give you the latest Dream Diary episode! Get excited for some amazing diary entries …
It’s essentially a TRAVEL blog for all of you guys to follow along on my adventures (I had to escape the cold Melbourne winter!) But keep on reading for some tips and tricks for your skin when travelling because I had to learn a couple lessons… 😅

Shenaja is outta here! ✈️
I have just left the cold Australian weather (I will not be missing it 🥶) but let me tell you, I’m so glad that all of our skincare is 100ml and under. If I couldn’t bring my best friend serum onto the plane I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done.
It’s so important to do your skincare on the plane and while I don’t want to scare you, it’s my duty to tell you why you should be using your skincare on the plane. I want you to be glowing for those vacation pictures!
-
The air inside an airplane cabin is notoriously dry, which can lead to dehydration of the skin. Skincare helps to lock in moisture and prevent your skin from feeling tight, dry, and uncomfortable during your flight.
To combat these effects, it is crucial to prioritize skincare on planes. Start by thoroughly cleansing your face before boarding, removing any excess dirt or makeup. Once on the plane, apply a generous layer of moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated throughout the flight. Consider using a hydrating facial mist periodically to refresh and revitalize your skin.
-
Airplanes expose you to higher levels of UV radiation due to being at higher altitudes. While the windows of the plane filter out some UVB rays, UVA rays can still penetrate and cause skin damage. Use SPF to help protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
-
If you have a long flight and plan to wear makeup upon arrival, taking care of your skin during the flight ensures a smoother application and better-looking makeup. You don’t want to be arriving at your holiday destination with five new bumps you didn’t have before…
Taking care of your skin while travelling can be particularly challenging, especially when it comes to long flights.
But, taking in mind these 3 simple steps can help you maintain healthy, glowing skin even at 30,000 feet in the air. Now I can go enjoy my holiday with glowing skin! ☺️

I made a mistake… 😳
So… I got burned… 😭 despite wearing my sunscreen every day (in 40+ degree weather, no less.)
I have missed a few opportunities to re-apply which has resulted in a rather uncomfortable burn. Not on my face at least! When you’re on holiday, it’s easy to forget about taking those extra steps to care for your skin. So while we have our own Getaway Glow post located HERE, I’m going to outline some tips of my own.

Back to Melbourne 🦘
I’ll be back soon! It’s almost time for me to return to Melbourne... I hope it’s not too cold!
I’m also interested to see how many of you have taken advantage of our Bio Needling promotion for our brand-new treatment! 20% off is a pretty incredible deal for such an amazing treatment, not to mention it’s not just one but TWO treatments!
I had an Infusion Bio Needling treatment done before I left - my skin did shed for a little while but when it had healed, I could see a huge improvement in my skin (it was glowing for my vacation!) ✨
We currently have many clients joining the craze of Infusion Bio Needling, which you may have already seen the results of it on our Instagram! This is our client Viki after 4 sessions of Infusion Bio Needling treatments, and don’t the results just speak for themselves? 🤩
I think this treatment will be great for a majority of our clients here at the clinic as it is gentle enough to work on most, if not all skin types!
But don’t take my word for it. Speak to your dermal clinician to see if this treatment is right for you and if you’re not yet a client with us, book a consultation using the button below to find out what treatments work best for YOU!
Wrapping up, thanks for coming along on this my travel journey! This is the end of episode 9 of the Dream Diaries - keep a look out for our next episode next month… until next time!
